Salt Lake City Comic Con freaking rocks a'Con!

Oh man, I had sooo much freaking fun at Salt Lake Comic Con! For those of you who don't know about Comic Con, it's the biggest Halloween costume party I ever been to, except, it aint on Halloween. It's all about something I know little to nothing about: "POP CULTURE." Anywho, Pablo got spooked on the way in, which I was expecting. I'm not a big fan of crowds either and I wasn't too surprised when he stepped out of line and said he had to, "shed a tear for the President," which is Pablo's way of saying he has to take a piss... Sooo I was all by myself. I know that shouldn't be such a big deal, but this place was packed and I don't really like crowds and as ya'll can see, this here is a freaking crowd!

That's just walking through the entrance. Anywho, I'm pleased to announce that "Prince & Princess, Into the Shadows," was the most popular book at the show. I broke all these down into categories, so I look forward to ya'lls thoughts.

This first category is the group of folks I was a bit surprised to see. I call it, class pics, and like all year books, it's introduced by teachers first. Ya'll should know these professors.

And this here is the class of Harry Potter, Salt Lake Comic Con 2014. Oh, and just so we keep this simple, everyone is a senior!

                                                 This little fella is HP

Hope ya'll like it. I'm getting more pics up tomorrow. I'll be putting them up all week. See ya'll tomorrow! Oh and by the way, to get the book, just click the link: http://ow.ly/BoR9B

At a loss fer my feels...

Audrey left :-(

The girl who may or may not be my daughter has gone back from whence she came. I gotta be honest, it was much harder seeing her go than seeing Moonshine leave. Course I know school is important, so I will try not to be too sad. Dang man, I can't believe I lost them both to school. I freaking hate school! But the thing with Moonshine is, I've known that Yeti since before I could grow a mustache. And although I was sad to see him go, at least I know where he is. I have no idea where Audrey is going and that worries me. Audrey, if you are reading this, Pablo and I put our beer money in your bag. If you ever want to come back to us, use the money to catch a bus ticket and we will find you. Not sure how to describe the emptiness inside. It makes me ask the question, what exactly is love? Guess I have a new quest. I gotta find it.

Happy trails...

To you... Until we meet again. Bumpa dida, bumpa dida. (I love that song!) I'm so sad to go, but my time with my Dad is over. What a crazy adventure. I'll be taking a train back to Illinois. Can't wait to see you, Mom! OMG, I'm going to be a Junior. I'm steps away from Prom! Yay! Well Utah, it has been real, and it has been fun. My Dad and Pablo are apparently sticking around Utah for the time being. Can't convince them to get a phone, not like they'd know how to use it. Anyway, my only regret is that Pablo didn't sell more tacos sooner. It would have been nice to have a tent the entire time. But hey, what can you do? xoxo Audge

A new page...

Howdy ya'll. I been getting a lot of questions about this and that lately. Mostly, I wanna talk about that. The "that" in my life is the next phase. I guess ya'll could say I have evolved. Considering I am now finished with my book (thank ya Nerd Chick) the question has been posed to me, "how are you going to sell it?" I got one word to describe how I'm going to sell my book: entrepreneurship!
Entrepreneurship is an amazing thing. It's sort of how I've been all my life. The other day when I was in the library with Audrey, I snuck a book out called, "The Lean Startup." Don't worry, I aint a thief or nothing like that, so I'll be sure to get it back, but what this book has to say could change my life... If ya'll have read it, I'm at the experiment phase of the process. Here is my hypothesis:

1) People like my book.
I know this because ya'll write me and tell me so. Thank you so much for liking my book. Course that don't account for some of the emails I get where they don't like my book at all. That's ok though, cause I get way more people that like it than don't.

2) I got a book in my hand and I need to sell it.
If I can sell my books, I think the best place is at an event called, "Comicon."

Audrey told me about this place in Salt Lake City.  Folks get dressed up and such and walk around in costumes buying this and that and the other, so I should be able to sell some books. I mean heck, if a dude wearing fish tackle and swinging his hips can sell pizzas by standing on the street corner, then I can sell some books at a halloween event. Since we are just about an hour away, it shouldn't be too hard to get on over there. Course I have a lot to do, so I'll get to it and see ya'll over there in a couple days. Till then, enjoy what's left of your summer!

A tribute to the Yeti

It's been several weeks since Moonshine booked it. I sure do miss that fella. I don't know if ya'll have ever lost someone close to you, but if you have, then I'm sure you can relate when I say, you feel real empty inside. Losing my fishing buddy, my debate partner, and a fellow philospher extrodinare happened all at once. Conversations have veered away from cosmic questions, to business. In fact, all we talk about these days is making benjamins. Course we aint actually done that yet, but we do have quite a few George Washingtons, Abe Lincolns, and occasionally, Andrew Jacksons. Anywho, as we was out sellin tacos last week, we stumbled across this sign. This here post is a tribute to Moonshine, the Yeti.

Do ya'll see a resemblance?

I hope you are enjoying your first year of college, Moonshine!

What makes America great? By Pablo Escobar...

Just kidding, it's me... Pablo. My last name is not Escobar, that's my cousin ;-) Today, I want to tell you three things that make America great:

1) Anyone can start a business. Take for example my recent venture. Because Audrey wants to go to the movies and stuffs all the time, I decided I needed to start making some money. I did not have to bribe a permit man to make a sign and start selling all the fishies H.R. catches. I did not have to give the local constables free tacos. I did not have to pay some thug half my earnings so he would not beat me up and rob me. No sir, I just had to make a sign and start selling the best fish tacos you have ever tasted. To this, I swear!

2) If you have the idea, people will help you do it. Take for example this short video Audrey took of this fine young man helping me sell tacos.

I'm not exactly sure why he has fishing tackle tied around his waist, but it worked!

3) People actually pay for what you are selling. In my country, this is hardly the case. I have made many tacos in my day. When I was a boy, I tried to start this exact same business. Everyone ate my tacos, but no one would pay for them. And when I would run out of ingredients, the big scary men who built a lot of buildings would yell, "Pablo, give me three of those really amazing tacos!" I would tell them that, "I can't, I have no monies for the meat cause you guys did not pay me for my last tacos." And they would say, "No problem Pablo, just go find a kitty cat or something." I'm not actually one to mix ingredients, but I am really glad that peoples in America pay for the most amazing tacos they have ever tasted.

If you see us selling tacos, you simply must try them! Thank you, that is all.

Capitalism

I aint no expert on this, but for those of you who keep baggin on capitalism, let me ask you this... Do any of you have something or want something? Yeah, we all do! Some of us want big flashy cars, nice suits, fancy houses, and big boats. Don't even get me started on what women want. From nice hair, beautiful dresses, to fake boobs, womens want it all! Well, here's a question for ya'll, do any of you commi S.O.B's see any of those things in former communist countries? Better yet, do you see them in dictatorships or present communist countries?

Competition... in my own words.

We live in a world of competition. Take the world cup for example, would the game be as exciting if one team ran the ball down the grass and kicked it in the goal without any resistance at all? Aint no way! No soccer fan in the world would watch a team drive goal after goal without any resistance. No one would even play on that team. Guaranteed success would be an absolute bore. It would be a failure. Thus, we have two teams that compete to W-I-N! Even better, we have multiple teams competing for a cup.

Money Dance!

What an amazing week. Hope ya'll had a great 4th of July. Murica lost the #worldcup, but who gives a crap? I guess Pablo does. He was doing his, "shots fired" dance and bragging about how Brazil was going to beat Germany. Personally, I don't really care, but since Pablo was so gungho, I went ahead and rooted for Germany. This is Pablo doing his dance when Brazil scored.

'Murica

My Dad keeps talking about the fourth of July, but when he says, "America," he has a really bad accent. It's so funny, it comes out, "'Murica." That's like a combination of MER-lin, and I-ca. 'Merica! I've compiled a list of the best things he's said below.

1) "Today is everybody in 'Murica's birthday!"
2) "'Murica won her ind-i-pendance today."
3) "'Murica: freest place in 'Murica!"
