Well here's a mystery for ya'll...

Nerd chick can't remember where this place is. She didn't get a business card and she don't remember where the heck this store is. Kind of funny the name of it is Book Shop. I mean it makes sense you'd lose a book at a place called, "Book Shop." Me and Pablo's laughing so hard over this one, we'll just leave it up to ya'll to find it. This store is just so darn quaint. I'm so grateful to the owner, for putting me in her pleasant little store in Pleasanton. Just look at them autumn leaves. When you get tired of that, just go on ahead and walk through that candy red door.

Boyah! Nerd chick is on some sort of book rampage! Like a T-rex, she's out there tearin it up! Go nothing but love for ya Nerd Chick! Check out her latest kill.

Got my book in a store!

Well ya'll aint never going to believe this. Nerd Chick got me into a bookstore. And not just any book store, "Book Soup" in Hollywood. Here's what I want ya'll to do if you live in the LA area. Get on down to

While she was down there, Nerd Chick bumped into Stephen King. I don't think she's one to lie, so I believe he was there and such. Anywho, it's a super famous bookstore, so I hope ya'll have an equally good experience.

Good things come to those who wait!

The moment I never thought would come, has finally arrived. My book is finished and ready for sale! Can't believe it took dang near a year to write this thing and although it's the most difficult task I've ever under taken, I'd say it's darn worth it! I'm sure most you are like, "yeah, we know you gotta book, you been posting it all over them comicon pictures." To that I must say, it wasn't actually my book, that was just a rough draft that got worked up. You know it was a fake cause the back says, "PROOF". Which according to Nerd Chick isn't proof you have a book, it's a "proof read."

Anywho, I got me a published book with my name on it. My blood sweat and tears went into this here and Nerd Chick done helped put it together. Thank you Nerd Chick! Your the best Nerd whose a chick I ever known. Pablo and I are singing your praises and dancing the la cooka rocha around the book!

I aint never seen Pablo dance like that. Didn't tell him and Moonshine (God bless you where ere you are) that I decided to put their pic in the back of the book. Them fella's has been such an inspiration to me and I mean heck, they been along for most of the ride. The day we took this pic, was a special moment to me. We survived the winter and I aint never going to forget all these fellas has done for me. Just seemed like they should be apart of it. 

   Any o'l who, every party has to get crashed, which is apparently my daughter Audrey's job. She killed the mood by asking, "how do we sell it?" That right there is a dang good question. How do you sell this here book? Anyone got any ideas?

Now that the ice bucket challenge is long over, I got to thinking... What if I could do something like that for my book? By that I mean, what if I could start a campaign that got people to buy my book? So instead of dumping ice on your head and challenging each other to freeze yourselves to dang near death, what if ya'll challenged each other to read a book? Doesn't have to be my book, but it would be pretty dang cool if it was! I imagine my social media campaign would go something like this.

ME: "Hey Joker!"

JOKER: "Yessss?"

ME: "GETTA BOOK!" 

JOKER: "Oh, well since you put it that way..."

JOKERS GIRLFRIEND: "We gotta book!" 

Pablo: "Be like Joker and his woman, GETTA BOOK!"

Setchra, the mermaid...

Mermaid from Comic Con

I get asked a crap ton of questions where I came up with Setchra, the mermaid. It all came about when I was a young boy. As I said awhile ago, I lived with a woman on the mississippi river. This kind lady referred to herself as the lady of the lake. She practically raised me. Her name was Ms. M. She was a good woman. A hard working woman who was as kind as heaven itself. Ms. M used to tell me, that if I was a good boy, beautiful mermaids from the caribbean would swim up that great mississippi river, crawl along the banks, and deposit shiny pennies for me to find. She sold me that tale a thousand times. And I bought, every time. Ms. M would say, "they'll be coming for you cause I toss berries in the river and they love berries." I asked how the mermaids might know if I was good? Ms. M said, "I won't toss the berries if you aren't good and they won't leave those gorgeous copper pennies." I said, "I could just toss the berries in there myself. In fact, I could toss more than you! Then they'd bring me more pennies." To which that wise woman responded, "Sure you could do that, if you knew which ones." Ms. M always had the upper hand on me. I didn't always find pennies along the banks, but when I did, I knew it was cause I was a good boy. When I asked Ms. M about the mermaids, she described them same as I did. My mind would grow insatiable, and  I would pepper Ms. M up with questions and exhaust that sweet old woman's brain. I always knew when she reached her end cause she'd say, "Etcetera, etcetera, etcetera." Hence, you have Setchra. And if ya'll ask me any more, I'll say, "etcetera, etcetera, etcetera."

Couples of Comic con SLC 2014

Wanna train a dragon ladies? First you gotta train yourself a man! Good luck with this Viking. He's bone headed, clumsy, fool hearted, and at times, just plain stupid. Them are all characteristics I personally subscribe to, so it's probably time for me to go train dragons. Boyah! That would rock!

I aint exactly sure what this robo dude is doing with a gold mouse, but whateves. 

Now here's a magical couple. I bet they met at Hogwarts or some such.

Now this couple was from that movie Guardians of the Galaxy. Audrey loved that movie, so I guess I like it too. I don't think they look anything like Star Lord and whatever that Green chicks name is that had all them daddy issues. But it's still fun to see them at Comic con. 

 

Same theme, different actors. Believe it or not, the chick in the mask is a chick. I think these two look way more like them actors in Guardian of the galaxy then the two above... even though the couple below is both chicks. 

I like these two a lot. This is Mystique and Dude Mystique. Sooo awesome! Could ya'll imagine that? You could turn into whoever you wanted and do... just about anything ;-) (kids ya'll kids read this!) 

Kind of shocks me that people don't know what movie these Ghostbuster look a likes hail from. Though the chick costume is not historically accurate, on account of their aint no chick ghost busters, I hear that's about to change. So that should be something to look forward to. 

Flyn Ryder & Rapunzel... In my humble opine, these two is spittin images! Good job guys. Love the book too!

First fem storm trooper I ever seen. The world is changing boys. Hot chicks is entering the ranks and I don't think storm troopers is upset about that. 

Mr. & Mrs. Joker are a straight trip. Best dang costumes and freaking amazing poses. They should be in the next Bat movies.

Getting back to it...

Hey ya'll, I've been real busy writing my book. Nerd Chick has been a huge help, and believe it or not, Audrey has pushed the story along in a way I could never have imagined. Who would have thought that a girl her age would be so knowledgeable.

I DO WHAT I WANT!

Hey ya'll. Moonshine here. I coined a new phrase I hope ya'll are going to appreciate... but first someone has to tell you what to do.

Gator Twist

Juan dang got all upitty on my trash. He said, "I'm going to gator twist your arm off if you don't let Moonshine and Audrey write on your blog!" Little fella actually went into detail talking about how he would grab my arm, clench it till I hollered, and spin around till my bone popped and plum come off. 

Twilight got me all flustrated! (Boyah!!! CHAPTER 3 IS DONE!)

What the hibbity hop? Pablo just finished reading us "Twilight." I really don't get why people like this book. I mean, this girl Bella stumbles on some shiny vampires who don't eat people, they eat animals. Who ever heard of vampires that don't eat people? I mean aint that the dang point? Anywho, her blood is irresistable to this Edward fella who seems like a good guy, except he's like a 100 dang years old. And then turns out he has a good family, maybe even a little more stable than Bella's, but she up and pisses off some Vampire that actually eats people. Imagine that. A vampire that eats people wants to eat a girl whose playing baseball with a bunch of vampires. I actually like that the vampires play baseball though! That was kind of cool. If I could play like that, I'd ditch the family and win the world series for the red sox for like, the rest of my life and such. Anywho, dang James apparently don't know when to quit, cause he keeps on hunting this chick Bella and bam, all of a sudden, he dies. It's like, duh! What the crap did you think was going to happen? Course you was going to get torn to bits and pieces and torched, that's what happens when you go up against a bunch of good wholesome vampires who are like, 100 years old! Anywho, I don't get why ya'll like this so much. I get a bunch of girls emailing me all the time what I think about this book. It's like it's the female bible or something. I just don't get it. Probably shouldn't tell ya'll this, but I had a dream about a shiny vampire. It was kind of weird.  He was all sparkly and such and I was like, "dang, you'd make a good fishing lure." Afore he could answer me, I woke up. Not sure what that means, but this here story should make more sense for ya'll. This is chapter 3 compiled. Hope ya'll like it.

CHAPTER III

CHANGES & CHANGING

Setchra smiles. “You will fear me less,” she heaves, snapping her tail, “when I walk on two legs like you.”

Ice fishin

For those of you who aint never been ice fishing, let me just tell you, this is no easy task.

First, you have to break through the ice. Check out Moonshine trying to bust through the ice.

Pablo and I was telling him he was gonna fall in, but he didn't listen. He just kept on smashing on the ice.

Like I said, when that fella gets an idea in his head, he just keeps on keepin on. Pablo was so worried about Moonshine, he measured out a safety line.

Course Pablo's line was too short, and the only reason we know that is cause I had the sense to stand on the ice and toss Moonshine the line in the event he fell through the ice. Did I mention we was both on the ice? Didn't have the heart to tell Pablo that if Moonshine fell through, I'd fall through as well, and he'd be left all alone. Anywho, this ice fishin thing is turning out to be quite the adventure. Hope ya'll like this next little bit of Prince & Princess, A true love story. Enjoy!

Well, now that the olympics is over, I decided it was time to go ahead and hold a medaling ceremony of my own. Like I said, the Olympix wasn't about winning, its all about competition, except, guess what, I WON THE GOLD BABY!

 All hale to the champions of hill billy olympix. I didn't have much time to prepare a ceremony speech, but I'd like to go ahead and thank all the little people. Ya'll know who ya are! Not sure if this is my good side, but what do ya'll think?

Howdy ya'll! Check out what nerd chick done! She made another one of those gifs. Hmmm... not sure what to make of it? What do ya'll think?

Anywho, ever wonder if someone out there was thinkin of you? Like that little mouse Fievel, in "An American Tail". I was looking up at the moon the other night. That sucker was large and in charge. I mean Moonshine caught a sun burn from the moonlight while Pablo was reading to us about "Twilight". Must have been a new moon or somethin, cause we was feeling all wild and such. My mind powers was enhanced by like a thousand fold. Not sure why, but I started howling like a dang wolf. Have ya'll ever howled like a wolf at the moon? I suggest you try it! Frankly, it's liberating. Anywho, I was hearing that little mouse sing that song, "Some where out there, beneath the pale moon light, someones thinking of you..." I don't wanna sing the whole dang song, but I was just realizing, life as a traveler is pretty darn lonely. If it weren't for Moonshine, Pablo, and this blog, I don't think anyone in the whole dang world would even know I existed. What a sad thought. Hope ya'll cherish your loved ones and such! My name is Pablo

Hola Amigos! For our next olympix event, Pablo, will be spelling his name. Big P, little a. Little b, little l, little o, that spells Pablo! Can't tell ya'll how long this took Pablo. Dude gets fixated on something and there is just no turning his brain off! Once he commits, he's full steam ahead! Sometimes, Moonshine and him can spend hours doing nothing and laughing about it. Those two crack me up!

Take for example this name spelling contest. Those two knuckle heads spent hours stomping down the snow. They even got me in on it. Anywho, we got his name spelled out and he was like, "I can't see it!" So he got off the lake and stood on high.

I aint never seen him look so dignified. I was impressed by Pablo's determined look and mighty intense gaze. When he tries, he looks fierce. Anyway, I got some more pages off to Nerd Chick. She sure doesn't take long to get them back. Hope ya'll like them, take care, Henry Ranger.

Lift off!

Well, I gotta say, as cold as this place looks, it really aint that cold. Moonshine and I are fine in our sleeping bags and Pablo sleeps under his blanket. He thinks sleeping bags is for suckers. Once, he told he us how he's a scared of sleeping bags cause his brothers forced him down in one and pinched the lid off. Said he got stuck in there forever and now, when he sleeps in a sleeping bag, he has sleeping bag nightmares. I can account for the truthfulness of this account as one night, I heard a mighty moaning. I looked up and saw Pablo trying to claw his way out of his sleeping bag. Pablo was a holerin so loud, he woke up Moonshine. Wakin up Moonshine is a bad idea. He aint never been in no war or anything like that, but he sure acts like he has. The two of them yelled at each other till Pablo finally woke up and peeled the sleepin bag off himself. I aint never seen him sleep in a bag since then. He wraps himself in his sombrerar and keeps the fire going all night. Anywho, like I was saying, it really aint that bad out here. Only when we first got here and now, I seem to have adapted. I suppose that happens in most places. When I go from Illinois on down to the Mississippi it always seems hot at first, but it calms down just right. Well, anyways, Nerd Chick compiled some more photos of us. She seems to like sending us gifts. I don't really mind though, as long as I don't stare at the screen too long.
